As most would think to happen, Morrie dies. This comes after MItch's and Morrie's fourteenth visit together. Morrie had been in terrible condition through the last weeks of his life and could barely speak in their last meeting. The last two lessons Morrie gives are about forgivness and everlasting love. He said forgivness was key. People spend their entire lives looking for vengence when forgivness is the proper response. He then says that everlasting love is all anyone should ever ask for. Material goods won't do love its justice. Loving peolpe constantly will only have love come back in return. That is gow Morrie said a dead mans soul will live on, through the loving hearts of those you have touched when you were alive.
This was an amazing book that really touches the heart of anyone who reads it. It was even able to teach me somethings and show me things that I take for granted. Life is too short to hate others and work all the time. This book showed me what it truely means to live life to the fullest and love everything you do. It is sad that these were a dieing mans last words but i think that anyone who reads this book will realize that we shouldn't die talking like this but rather die talking about everything we were able to accomplish with the time we had.

Tuesdays with Morrie second blog
Mith started going to see Morrie every Tuesday and each week they had something new to talk about. They have talked about death, emotions, and getting old. Mitch seems to be lerning a lot from Morrie not only about life but about himself. MItch is beggining to see the greater values in life and appretiate the little things in life. Morrie's body is falling apart quicker and quicker and Mitch notices changes everytime they meet. Now he relies heavily on oxygen and can no longer walk or do anything on his own anymore. Morrie's dieing day is coming soon.
This book is mind changing. The simple lessons about life and death and the events that take place in between are very moving. The things hes says almost seem to be common sense but for somre reason, like I said before, no one listens until it's someones last words. I really likes his lesson on death. Death comes to us all but many people believe or liver like that it could never happen to them. I think it's good to go and think about death every once in a while because if you don't then you may live life thinking you have plenty of time and you choose not to take certain opportunities. Live life to the fullest as much as you can.

Tuesdays with Morrie 1
MItch was once one of Morrie's students in college. Morrie is now faced with Loue Gharigs disease and is said to only have two years to live, but Morrie knows it will take less time than that. Morrie makes an appearence on Dateline and Mitch sees it. He decides to go visit Morrie and at the end of the visit they agree to meet every Tuesday until Morries death. They meet and they discuss various things from regrets to death itself to trust. Mitch is deeply moved by his lessons and begins to record them so he will be able to listen to them in the future.
It is amazing what words a dieing man will say. This is weird to read because a lot of the same stuff was said by my grandmother right before her death. I just dont like how people wait until someone is about to die to start listening to their loved ones. I have begun to call my grandfather more and more just to talk with him. He was once the president of colleges and is a very smart man. This books and more so Morrie reminds me of him. I think that people need to start listening to their elders more and not wait until the few days before their death. Older people are always willing to talk!
