Angelas Ashes Response One

Angelas Ashes is a story of a young boy who was born in America to two Irish parents. They don't have a lot of money and all of his siblings keep dying. The family moves to Ireland where it is is totally different than America. Religion is huge and schooling is little to none. Diseases cover the streets and it rains every single day. The mother, Angela, has had it rough because she has had six kids over the last nine years and she only has two left. However, there is a third child that she found on the steps to her house one night.

I couldn't imagine having to go through that type of a childhood where a sibling of yours dies every two years from disease. This book is not very fast based and goes deep into the religion aspect of his life but it picks up every now and then. the only bad part is that when it picks up is when someone in the family dies.
