As most would think to happen, Morrie dies. This comes after MItch's and Morrie's fourteenth visit together. Morrie had been in terrible condition through the last weeks of his life and could barely speak in their last meeting. The last two lessons Morrie gives are about forgivness and everlasting love. He said forgivness was key. People spend their entire lives looking for vengence when forgivness is the proper response. He then says that everlasting love is all anyone should ever ask for. Material goods won't do love its justice. Loving peolpe constantly will only have love come back in return. That is gow Morrie said a dead mans soul will live on, through the loving hearts of those you have touched when you were alive.
This was an amazing book that really touches the heart of anyone who reads it. It was even able to teach me somethings and show me things that I take for granted. Life is too short to hate others and work all the time. This book showed me what it truely means to live life to the fullest and love everything you do. It is sad that these were a dieing mans last words but i think that anyone who reads this book will realize that we shouldn't die talking like this but rather die talking about everything we were able to accomplish with the time we had.

Tuesdays with Morrie second blog
Mith started going to see Morrie every Tuesday and each week they had something new to talk about. They have talked about death, emotions, and getting old. Mitch seems to be lerning a lot from Morrie not only about life but about himself. MItch is beggining to see the greater values in life and appretiate the little things in life. Morrie's body is falling apart quicker and quicker and Mitch notices changes everytime they meet. Now he relies heavily on oxygen and can no longer walk or do anything on his own anymore. Morrie's dieing day is coming soon.
This book is mind changing. The simple lessons about life and death and the events that take place in between are very moving. The things hes says almost seem to be common sense but for somre reason, like I said before, no one listens until it's someones last words. I really likes his lesson on death. Death comes to us all but many people believe or liver like that it could never happen to them. I think it's good to go and think about death every once in a while because if you don't then you may live life thinking you have plenty of time and you choose not to take certain opportunities. Live life to the fullest as much as you can.

Tuesdays with Morrie 1
MItch was once one of Morrie's students in college. Morrie is now faced with Loue Gharigs disease and is said to only have two years to live, but Morrie knows it will take less time than that. Morrie makes an appearence on Dateline and Mitch sees it. He decides to go visit Morrie and at the end of the visit they agree to meet every Tuesday until Morries death. They meet and they discuss various things from regrets to death itself to trust. Mitch is deeply moved by his lessons and begins to record them so he will be able to listen to them in the future.
It is amazing what words a dieing man will say. This is weird to read because a lot of the same stuff was said by my grandmother right before her death. I just dont like how people wait until someone is about to die to start listening to their loved ones. I have begun to call my grandfather more and more just to talk with him. He was once the president of colleges and is a very smart man. This books and more so Morrie reminds me of him. I think that people need to start listening to their elders more and not wait until the few days before their death. Older people are always willing to talk!

Second Response Angelas Ashes
Well on the good side no more kids have died and no more will die for the rest of the story. The boys are finishing up school and looking for work. Frank is now 19 and has a job working for the coal yard. His father moved to England to make money but continues to drink it away at the pubs. His brother Malachy goes away for schooloing at the age of 15 for a year and Michael is still growing older. With the money Frank is making he slowly starts to save it up. Soon after he started saving he reached the amount of money he needed. This money was then put to buying a ticket. A ticket back to America.
This story ended really well compared to what all happened at the beginning of his life. Frank is able to put his head on straight and not end up like his dad. I'm just glad that the family was able to move on without the help of the father and actually ended up doing better without him.

Angelas Ashes Response One
Angelas Ashes is a story of a young boy who was born in America to two Irish parents. They don't have a lot of money and all of his siblings keep dying. The family moves to Ireland where it is is totally different than America. Religion is huge and schooling is little to none. Diseases cover the streets and it rains every single day. The mother, Angela, has had it rough because she has had six kids over the last nine years and she only has two left. However, there is a third child that she found on the steps to her house one night.
I couldn't imagine having to go through that type of a childhood where a sibling of yours dies every two years from disease. This book is not very fast based and goes deep into the religion aspect of his life but it picks up every now and then. the only bad part is that when it picks up is when someone in the family dies.

Copper Sun Response Two
After finishing the story, a lot of things about slavery came clear in my mind. Amari and the others were able to escape plantation and now had a long march south to the Spanish colonies in Florida. Whild on their way they met many people who were willing to help them and lead them in the direction that they want to go. Clay follows them however and threatens to take them back. However, this was all before he was shot and bitten by a poisonous snake. They walked clear from South Carolina to Florida. After they crossed this large river they were free. Free to work for money and own land and live the lives they always wanted or once had before. The book ends with Amari looking into the copper sun (sun set) and realizing that Tennie and Afi were right that she was a free soul and should not spend her life as slave. She was strong and fought for her freedom and found her future was going to be brighter than she had ever thought.
This was a very good book that always kept me wondering what was next. It was told very well and had historical references to it that helped make the story more realistic. I'm glad they were able to escape to safety but it troubles me to think that what was told in the story was not fiction. i don't see how it was possible to do some of these terrible things to other human beings and be ok with it. I'm glad that slavery and all this madness is now over and that some people were able to enjoy their life and their freedom.

Copper Sun Review 1
So far Amari, an African girl, has been taken from her village and was made to walk hundreds of miles to the coast. She decribed her attackers as pale colored monsters. Now she is in a dark room where other Africans are being held in wait for a transport to the "new world."
The main thing I want to point out is that when she was being taken, members of another tribe were helping the white people. This throws me off because latter when they make it to the coast, the people from the other tribe are then thrown in with the prisoners. Why would they choose to help when, clearly, the white people were taking prisoners of all the africans?
